Hospital Stay
I spent two days in the hospital this week. On Wednesday my white blood count was low and I got a fever so Randy drove me to the emergency room at Bryn Mawr Hospital. They admitted me and gave me IV antibiotics to fight infection, and Neupogen to help up my white blood cells. They also gave me a bone scan while I was there to check for the spread of the cancer. Thankfully, the bone scan was negative and, after an uneventful stay, I am happy to report that I am back home, still working on getting over some side effects from last week.
